Imagine if we had transparency re: Toronto Police's $1.16 billion budget. Instead, it takes FOI requests to surface a $400,000 expenditure of public money on a pro-police podcast and TikTok campaign, neither of which has any impact on "public safety."

Lily Cheng has a significant online following in #willowdale . For months, she communicated to followers that people without homes are dangerous, that women are being assaulted by them + that their very nature inclines them to inflict violence, that “hurt people hurt people”.

Also blocked. Mr. Cho told me he was not aware of it. Minutes later, his chief of staff Ryan Cole told me that he and Mr. Cho has discussed the matter and decided that I am not sufficiently respectful. Neither had a response to why he blocks rather than mutes.
