One deployment I hit an IED that the loghts went out for about 2 minutes. I lied, said I was fine and was back out on patrol that same day. 6 days later I hit another IED and was unconscious for 3 days with cerebral fluid coming out my ears and nose.

Today is my son's dental surgery. Ready for it to be over and he to be finally pain free. Getting the pre meds down him and the fasting portion of this morning should be interesting to say the least. He hates meds and loves to eat. He's going to be extra shitty lol

Spent 17 months in the hospital and was never the same again. How things might of been different if I would of been honest about that first concussion. Granted these were bombs and not football hits but the game last night brought me back to that decision of not being honest
