Actually in 1483 the Inquisition was an attempt by the church to impose rule of law on what otherwise would have been summary executions by lynch mobs and Joe McCarthy MASSIVELY underestimated, not overestimated, the extent of communist infiltration. The 2019ers have no excuse.

probably from a lower middle class or working-class background where college is a highly esteemed option for the top of the class, and think THAT is the pressure we are talking about. It's not.

@BostonMaggie @femmissgeek @LethalityJane There is no amount of frivolous lifestyle cutting that makes saving a 20% downpayment practical. The median apartment is 50% of the median salary. In boomer times, it was 5%.

to college, and really there isn't-repaying student loans is easier than any other type of debt. The idea that a student in this environment wouldn't go to college is laughable, again, like the idea that an Amish teenager isn't going to do some farm labor. Where would the thought

Under modern international law, which is a now-aborted half-baked attempt at world government by the self-important cluelessness of Wilson, FDR, & Churchill, the party that blows it up is responsible. This has led to: -the weaker party in any conflict using hospitals as depots.

@Ignitro_TV @VDAREJamesK The government has been handcuffing the police by inventing new rights to give criminals for 60 years. That massively increases the risk of things like this. You might think that's a good thing, but that's where the deliberate choice comes in.
