Remember this from 2014? She was rubbing it in our faces, disguised by humor and delivered with the confidence of being well protected.

I agree, have seen it firsthand when a Vietnam veteran I'm a caretaker for was in a position he had to go to an assisted living facility. All of the patients were given vaccines and boosters. I advised my veteran to decline them. There's a 100 year old WW2 veteran resident there
An extra rainy day is a perfect opportunity to get a front row seat to this patriotic, heart thumping ceremony.

Being a DV survivor, that was a hard read. But thank you for sharing it so people can fully understand the seriousness of the societal collapse we're witnessing.

It's definitely a ghost town! I was there a few weeks ago and so many of the buildings were completely fenced off with Secret Service guarding them. There are no politicians walking around anywhere.

My WW2 veteran buddy has impeccable memories of the war. He recounts them to me with clarity as though he piloted those Liberators yesterday. Those boys from that war know exactly what tyranny looks, smells, and feels like. That's why the Plandemic targeted our elderly first.

Pizza is a common reference to pedophilia. So are the words sauce, cheese, and pepperoni are code words used to describe sexual abuse of children. The same references were used throughout the leaked Podesta/Clinton/Obama emails back when Killary took a hammer to and bleached her

Hi there 👋🏻 I'm Laura!
As a photographer capturing the forgotten stories of abandoned and historic homes, I'm always fascinated by the unique passions we all have.
Share with me 👉🏻 What's an intriguing hobby or interest that brings you joy and fulfillment? ♥️
My fellow Americans, this is your photographer speaking.
If you live outside of this great Republic, drop your country's flag in the comments so I can say hello!
I'll go first 👉🏻

I agree. I had a rare Stage 3B cancer at age 33. They wouldn't let me start chemo without taking injections to boost my WBC. Between the treatments and injections, they billed my insurance company $76,000 a month. So bizarre walking into the chemo suite twice a month and seeing

I'm driving up to dc tomorrow night. I'll be taking video of the Capitol and White House at night, and then again during business hours on Friday (although there's a 100% chance of rain on Friday, so fingers crossed for clearer skies!)
I love seeing the bones of these old homes, which is why I couldn't help myself from peeking in the attic space of this 1900 farm home.
Wouldn't it make such a dreamy third-floor bedroom with its high roof pitch and exposed chimney?
I probably should've worn the snake boots on
Barn Find!
I went to an estate sale where the property owners were an elderly couple in need of selling everything they own so they could move to a nursing home together.
Literally every item in their home, barns, and buildings had a price tag attached to it (this is where I

How/where are these pictures of the gallows coming from? No one is posting sources and in an information war, sources are especially important

I actually tested that theory when I was in DC this past weekend. I specifically stood in front of the White House, logged into the live cam, and paid attention to anything in view, and in my surroundings. It was definitely real time. Not saying they don't loop it though, that
A few weeks ago I attended the funeral of a young veteran killed in action during the Korean War. His remains were recently identified, returned home, and buried at the Salisbury VA cemetery. He had six family members and a small group of people from our community attend his
I took two friends to visit the Bolch/Bolick Cemetery with me today. Neither had ever seen it before. Both are descendants of the first person to be buried here in 1794, Johann Adam Bolch, Sr.
All five of Johann's sons fought in the Revolutionary War, and they're buried here as
My HOA doesn't allow us to fly American flags in front of our homes. I just learned an older veteran neighbor asked special permission and was denied by our Board.
I volunteered to be the vice president of our HOA and the first thing I'm going to propose is that he be granted
Out of the wide variety of historic structures I photograph, my affection runs deepest for log cabins and the ingenuity of the early pioneers who built them.
The architectural details, such as dovetail joints fitted together with precision and without the use of modern
I capture the abandonment of our pasts in hopes of encouraging others to preserve their own family histories. Engaging in genealogy has brought me so much healing in my life, helps keep me focused on the eternal perspective of things, and reiterates just how closely connected we
Since today is International Day of Happiness (and everything in this reel makes me very happy), I thought I'd introduce myself and the things I'm passionate about!
Thanks so much for joining along on my abandoned history adventures! ♥️
I'm happy you're here 🥰
Can you imagine how labor-intensive this Tennessee home was to build? I found this one while on a cross country road trip, so I only had time to stop and take a quick photo.
If I had all the hours in all the days, I'd chat with every property owner I could, spend hours
Hi there, it's me.
If you're curious about how I got started exploring abandoned places, it began with nothing less than a Texas tornado🌪️ and one very wrecked neighborhood when I was a little girl. I wrote a story about how that event fueled a lifelong curiosity and eventually
This old Boy Scout Camp at the coast of North Carolina appeared to have sustained damage during a bad storm, but I'm not sure if that occurred before or after it was abandoned. I was visiting my daughter near Camp Lejeune and while there, scoured Google maps in hopes of finding
Hello friends and family! Now that I've officially launched my Diary of Abandonment website, it'd be real swell if you'd be so kind as to leave me a Google review and let me know what you think of my work!
I love what I do, so I hope you do, too!
Here's another creative edit I did, (similar to my last post), as part of my Blackbird Series...kind of dreamy and dark...Poe mashed with Hitchcock. You can't tell from the photo, but this was a sizable home, with several additions added to the back. The owner of it was found
Even though she's been gone a long time, every now and then I can still smell her perfume and I’m certain my Grandmother is near.
Sometime after she died, she visited me in my dreams and gave me a lingering you've-been-gone-way too long kinda hug. Her hair smelled faintly of Red
The first time I visited Arlington National Cemetery, I was fortunate enough to have witnessed not only the Changing of the Guards, but a live caisson funeral procession as well. I cried during both events. Especially when those blue coats and drums came beating up the hill
I stopped by this house on my morning run and thought I'd share it's history ☀️
In 1859, Dr. Josephus Wells Hall bought this house, which was constructed in 1820 as the Salisbury Female Academy. He added a new entrance and the double veranda with lacey ironwork. Inside, he had

64 fourth great-grandparents
128 fifth great-grandparents

My sister and I first visited this primitive cabin several years ago during a trail run. It appeared to have been built as two small cabins next to each other, and at a later point someone joined them together by enclosing the area in between and adding a front porch.
I drove an hour to visit my favorite haunt today and thankfully I found the property owner to get permission to go inside again.
She was built in 1900, just like the date etched in a stone step leading to the front porch says so. I first found this one in 2016, but it's been

Some of these old homes really test my commitment to being a reformed trespasser.
But alas, I shall persevere and stay on the outside...forever looking in.
