I wasn’t going to post this, but I don’t think I will receive any support from
@unccharlotte
. I was told someone called 911 and reported me, and I got cuffed for “resisting” because I refused to let the officer take my kirpan out of the miyaan.
@CLTNinerNews
A lion amongst rabid dogs. As heartbreaking as this news is, I’m proud of Singh for protecting our gurughar with his life — and that being within Anandpur Sahib. This should be a wake up call and an inspiration to Singhs and Kaurs everywhere. Don’t let this one slip away.
Gurdwara Sri Sachkhand Sahib, Roseville, California. Let’s try to get these tables and juttiyaan out of the langar in the future.
Koi maryada ni aa ethe :/
Non Sikhs don’t say a damn thing about Sikh struggles — and even at that, Sikhs are divided.
Yesterdays incidents have served not only as a reminder that we are not welcomed in our own home, but as a wake up call to all Sikhs that we need to put ourselves first.
This gotta be the cringiest picture I’ve seen in a while 🤦🏽♂️ Singhs/Kaurs couldn’t even enter if they were wearing kirpan. This y’all favorite artist right here.
If they take one away, let a thousand come forward. In the past month, I’ve seen many get closer to Sikhi, and aside from the protesting, I want to encourage whoever needs to hear this to take that first step: become Gurskih.
After reading this again, I’m gonna be honest: the fact that this school and media outlets are throwing the word “allow” around like they’re in the authority to regulate how Sikhs practice their faith is absurd.
Why is it that whenever something happens in pakistan/Punjab, diaspora Pakistanis show minimal concern? But whenever anything in the Arab world/North Africa happens, they’re the first to throw their bank account at the gofundmes?
I’ll never understand how ppl can wear a kara or a khanda necklace and use that same hand to pick up a bottle or a vape… just don’t wear it at that point ☠️
I just seen a kesdhari kaur chop it all and then hit me with, “I’d rather focus on being a good person first, then worry about my appearance”.. like u couldn’t do both? Kalyug is upon us ladies and gents.
Somehow managed to enrage the mona and LGBTQ community simultaneously, just wanna put it out there that idc what u do with ur life, as long as ur happy… just can’t change hukam man, that’s all
The amount of times I’ve had people call my Sri sahib a shank is wicked. Lowlifes like these cats needa get humbled. I don’t personally know who these ppl are but to any uk sangat who know, I encourage you lot to check these idiots. Waheguru
If fake encounters really are being implemented in masses across panjab, it just proves that peaceful protesting will do nothing. It’s time for apne to become singhs/singhniaan of the guru, become tyaari, and fight back.
I think it’s crazy how a person called out Sikhs for abandoning their dharam by converting to Islam, and somehow Muslims get pressed as if something outlandish was said.
Yesterday evening our sevadaars attended to a disturbing matter that emanated from our Sikh community. This matter was that of indecent images of Sikh girls being sold to other Sikh and Muslim men.
This matter was addressed and dealt with however we need to address this

Tomorrow, Fauja Singh celebrates 112 years of life. Not only is he kind, funny, wise, and filled with an inspiring love for life - but he is someone who has transformed many lives around the world.
Why do I feel like the Indian media is pushing the shubh tour cancellation to wash out the Bhai Hardeep Singh news? Anyone else sharing similar thought?
This time of year is hard on a lot of sangat, especially the young Singhs and Kaurs. I encourage all my sangat to use this time to spread awareness and educate the younger ones about our history, 1984, and our shaheeds.
Yeah it’s cool they made a policy, but this institution is in no position to tell a Sikh how they can practice. Let’s keep it at that. This kirpan policy isn’t a privilege given to Sikh students.
It’s both empowering and sad to see the state of affairs for the shastar market in panjab: on one hand, it’s nice to see it being normalized, yet look how we’re keeping them.. dulled and wrapped in plastic. A Sri sahib is only as useful as it’s edge is sharp.
Did your non-Sikh/panjabi people wish you for Vaisakhi? If not, then I think it’s intuitive where our priorities should lie. Let’s focus on cultivating good relationships and environments in our own community this year… contribute and learn more one day at a time…
@ikaurrr
Gotta fly into Indira Gandhi, take a piss, then spit on the ground, thennn make the troop to the pind. Gotta give disrespect where it’s due 😌🤝
And no I’m not making a mark towards Hindus/anyone else who does Lavaan around fire. If they chose to have a destination viah, then they could have did that and spared the beadbi of maharaaj.
