I pay for both Spotify and YouTube premium and the fact I still have to “act” like I’m not a bot and so many of us got our streams filtered out from Spotify when I KNOW a lot of armys have premium...what a slap in the face to your customer what the fuck.

So for our 100 mill view videos BTS only gets 69k? How much do you think production costs on one of their mvs? For their billion view mvs, they get a little under 7 million bucks. I guess that’s not terrible because BTS has done that but thinking of other artists…

Holy shit. Am watching this ep on music & I learned artists earn money at different rates bw streaming platforms. Did you all know this? ▶️For song streams: YT Music/Spotify pay the least, Apple Music pays more, Tidal pays most. ▶️For MVs: Youtube pays $690 every 1M views.

I have serious respect for John Cena because he doesn’t get anything from talking about his love for BTS, he doesn’t have them on his show or promote his books or anything. And he talked about how he listened to their music first and loved the rap styles rap line incorporated

The boys are nice even when they’re swarmed, so praising Japan armys when they’d have to track his flight to show up there or bought the info is misplaced. It also creates this country vs country narrative which is silly because the guys are swarmed and stalked in EVERY place

No mention of the reason why fans had to ask radio stations to play BTS is because despite their success in the US, stations refused to play them. They were selling out shows since 2017 and yet are only mentioned selling stadiums out last year. Ugh. Ok I’m done.
