Special mention to Dan Neil tonight. Outstanding goal , managed the middle for us like a seasoned 32 year old gaffer. But is still only 21 !!! already consistently good at this level and now adding goals. Proper footballer and will only get better and better. Pleased he is ours.

Tin hat on. I think there is a huge over reaction to Saturdays loss. Yes we were awful, and we are crying out for a striker. But some of the tweets I've seen on here "end of the new dawn" , "recruitment model is broken" , "sack Mowbray" & "KLD is another Donald" wipes me out!

The meltdown on here after last night's result is canny ower the top in some quarters. Mathematically the play offs are still very much on , realistically they possibly aren't. But this group have done amazing all season to be in the mix and one swallow doesn't make a summer.

It's old , looks scruffy , was worn in 73 by my Dad at the final ❤️🤍. I've worn it for every Derby I've attended since the 90 play off win. Its seen more wins than losses and never let me down. Need its superpowers more than ever today. HA'WAY ME BONNY LADS @SunderlandAFC

@jeremytigar @MJGold T&F has always had huge coverage in the UK both TV and Radio historically. Even more so at the World's and Olympics. The work Michael has done with the BBC has only added further value and his knowledge and expertise as a winner is greatly appreciated by UK audiences.

7 from 9 is a great return in the past week. Mogga is right it felt like a kick in the gut when they equalised. But Bristol City are a good side, one of the better ones I've seen at our place. If it was WDW opposed to WWD it wouldn't felt the way it did. On to Tuesday lads 👍

@ALS_Fanzine Always guttering when we lose , but we were always going to hit some bumps and maybe this is the period we do it. Concerned that our striker options aren't there. But not in terms of the season as a whole. Still say I'll be very happy finishing 12th this year and build on that.

The meltdown on here is getting worse each time we lose. It's competitive professional sport, the idea is win, lose or draw. Aye we expect to beat the likes of Plymouth. But there is another team trying to do that to us. Bit of perspective on how sport works wouldn't go a miss.
