This is a thread about disinformation and misinformation. For more details and references, please see the screenshots on the last slide. What is misinformation? Misinformation is the spreading of incorrect or misleading information by accident.
@KtpIselin
@gerardinho9
Exactly - profs should use the school librarians to help with these tasks . They can assure access for students & other goals such as credit for authors or teaching students how to access library resources are all met.

@Spoonamore
@TerryMcAuliffe
Also, gerrymandering court decision that forced more fairly drawn districts. There are many ways people votes are stolen or diluted.
@RepTroyNehls
If you are referring to the new law this is not true. Newsom said. “Parents know what’s best for their kids, and they should be able to make decisions around the health of their children without fear. We must take a stand for parental choice.”
@OliviaLambo_
Wow - she seems like someone who was horrified by other people’s actions & also traumatized by the harassment she & her family suffered. But keep the unwarranted harassment up - such a great look.
@kbeans713
I am not
#freekarenread
but there is a difference between the investigative officer arguable displaying bias against a suspect & people posting trash on the internet. BTW - nobody should be harrassing witnesses
@CoffindafferFBI
@MafiaMasshole
I am not picking on you in particular as I know many people have posted same but you have a large following so could I suggest blurring the kids?
@goldietaylor
@ari2020
People want to believe stories against candidates they don’t like but there is no excuse for not using common sense or doing a little research.
@katebogg
@AyannaPressley
Not second guessing anyone else’s choices but same here. I let my daughter have blue tips. It is such a lousy time & kids’ hair grows pretty fast.
@tiredofit10
The problem is that (at the least) it creates the appearance of bias. He is an officer investigating KR during the course of an investigation so he needs to remain unbiased.
@BronxShamrock
What is this picture supposed to be? I am not FKR but we all need to do better with respect to how we speak/represent people whether they are charged with a crime, are witnesses, or family members.
@courtreporterKG
Sometimes she is smiling, sometimes her lips are pursed, definitely angry with her legal team one day. I haven’t watch every minute of every day but all people react differently so I personally don’t read too much into it.
@SouthPoint1000
@mkraju
That was my first thought. It seems very relevant, especially given Trump’s comment about the ambassador on his call with Zelenskyy.
@OliviaLambo_
You don’t seem to care about how what you post affects the witnesses/ families. So harassment-sorry if you don’t like truth. The whole 3rd party claim is a baseless accusation & anyone who knowingly perpetuates the fallacy is harassing witnesses. Especially those who know better.
@ChuckRossDC
Seems like he has some documentary evidence. If others want to refute what Parnas has said, let them call Bolton & others so we can get to the truth.
@AoDespair
@freep
Could not agree more. Buying a T-shirt with MF on it makes us like the sexist, racist criminal who has no respect for our Rule of Law? Sorry but I have never put our national security at risk for my own financial or political gain. Now, i have a shirt to go buy.
She then implies the hash was removed: “Who removed the hash value?” When IW references the original examiner having the hash, it seems he is referencing the Cellebrite examiner who initially received the data. But in any case, there is no evidence the hash was removed. (Id.)
@TuesdayGazette
🙏🏻 for your very thoughtful post. The argument that this is even required under MA law is incorrect. Also
@OliviaLambo_
ignores that JH also concluded there was no 2:27 “search.” JH got the full extraction & check the hash value to the original that was sent in documentation.
@wineunist
@teddygoff
Totally agree. There are definitely some right wing nuts in Congress who believe the lies but I think far more are just motivated by selfishness.
@MamaLama43
@Amanda77448
Aidan is obviously harassing witnesses - I mean the “we were just going to dinner in Canton” excuse is such a laughingly apparent ruse.
What is disinformation? Disinformation is similar except is spreading incorrect or misleading information on purpose. Unsurprisingly, X is the biggest source of disinformation. (Forbes) I am going to examine a recent thread by
@OliviaLambo_
that was written about Ian Whiffin.
JH testified that 2:27 search was for Hockomock, the search “how long to die in the clkd” search happened at 6:23 and the “hos long to die in the cold” search at 6:24 ( 1:02:28)
JH found no evidence of deletion of artifacts pertaining to 2:27 “search.” (Id)
This is an example of how incomplete information or pointing to incorrect authority (federal vs. state law) can be used to try to substantiate a partisan talking point. The requoting of this information is an example of how misinformation spreads. Screenshots w/ sources shortly

New "Conspiracy" By The Read Team Spectacularly Fails
In a series of 3 tweets over the weekend, FKR activist Olivia Lambo debuted the newest conspiracy theory of the thoroughly debunked 2:27am search based on missing hash values in the Cellebrite extraction.
After
@DoctorTurtleboy
He is probably going to say the data was misinterpreted by the defense expert. A lot of his training materials talk about how to interpret the data.
Olivia contends: “the state refused to let him look at or even give him the full, original extraction”: Whiffin testifies that the full extraction of Jen McCabe’s phone had already been uploaded to Cellebrite by the time the case was escalated to him. (Day 26 Testimony ~ 8:26)
@DonutsBaga
Guarino found over 50,000 pages of data on SB’s devices. He extracted & preserved that data & gave it to the investigate officer - Fanning. Some of the data he preserved was later used in the IA & fed investigations. So I think he is good.
“For electronic or digital communications, by confirming circumstances that would allow a reasonable fact finder to conclude that this evidence is what its proponent claims it to be. Neither expert testimony nor exclusive access is necessary to authenticate the source.”
@Trace___65roses
@jennycohn1
Thank u. I figured there were probably exceptions. I just read the links & report posted. I also looked back at details/timing of the case. It seems like as a NSA contractor in early 2017, the patchwork of WB protections did not provide a realistic path for her w/in the system.
Next Olivia uses the Federal Rules of Evidence to substantiate her claim that a hash is need to authenticate electronic evidence. The obvious problem with this is that Mass courts are not governed by these rules. (Although I think hash was provided, lets look at the Mass rule.)
@JulieCar94
There were several disgusting comments from
#FKR
last night about this accident but also many wishing Trooper Guarino well. There are still lots of good people, even on X.
Hyde’s testimony is further evidence that the materials received by Cellebrite/Whiffin were correct and complete as she comes to substantially the same conclusions with respect to the 2:27 “search.” Hyde testifies she confirmed the hash.(Day 25, ~10:35-11:30)
@AmyPNJ
I was watching with EmilyDBaker. I like her but feel she leans slightly toward the defense(knowsAJ). She said all the non JoK DNA found were too low quality to get a match & they were consistent with transfer of dna from brushing against someone, etc… NOT blood or other fluid.
Additionally, if authentication was an issue, it is certainly one that the defense attorneys could have raised at trial. Finally, Olivia totally ignores Jessica Hyde's testimony.
@73mbh
@PatrickHodge7
@JoyceWhiteVance
That is true for defendants but witnesses can do just that - only plead the fifth to questions that might implicate them in a crime.
