“Down Hill” front toss. Forces you to have body control and awareness. Helps the hitter feel forward controlled move, while understanding of hitting into a firm front side. One of my favorite drills for 15+ years.

This was not a swing to do damage. This was also probably not a swing that anyone would practice. This was a two-strike battle swing. This may have been the at bat of the game because without it, there is no series winning sac fly. Contact matters. Contact will ALWAYS matter.

Learning to impact the ball from your back side is key. Keep all your energy without leaking will equal harder contact than pulling your front side off. This will allow better direction and a longer hitting zone.
