it’s not a coincidence that the unmasked folks spreading and getting covid again and again are always the first to say they will simply up and leave the US once it gets “bad.” they don’t prioritize community in any capacity. they refuse to accomodate it or fight for it.

People said I was being sensationalist when I pointed out that if you plan on leaving the US to move to any of these “liberal havens”, you probably don’t want COVID infection after COVID infection. When you become disabled you really can’t just move anywhere.

im rarely sick now and when i am they *seem* to be little flareups from covid (random sore throats, shortness of breath, worse brain fog, etc.). that’s plenty sickness for me, thank you very much.

my friend of over a decade didnt really take covid seriously at all. the other day, he told ME about the most recent covid wave. today he called HIS friends out for not doing the right thing when theyre sick. it may not stick but im so happy right now.
