What I love about ratiorine is how they embody the sun & moon theme but BOTH ways. On the outside, Aventurine is the bright sun and Ratio the cool moon. But inside, it’s the other way around. Ratio’s the breaking dawn that pierces through Aventurine’s darkness. It’s meant to be.

The theme was there from 2.0-2.3, only explicitly said in 2.2. Penacony is a thematic-driven story, whether hit or miss.

@forager_m I admit, before 2.1 I had other Ratio ships but the moment I played 2.1, I yeeted all of them to space and they’re never coming back. I cannot fathom any end-game for both of them that isn’t Ratiorine. Like they ruined the other ships for me. It’s this, do or die.

@Ann_Mauriii @lwjcucker I think people are reluctant to use the same logic with WangXian because the name means something in canon aka LZ himself creating this name to represent their love. But as meaningful as it is, it makes it hard to differentiate the dynamics 🥲
