@teslaownersSV He was not on FSD. The software had unfortunately never been downloaded. I say “unfortunately”, because the accident probably would not have happened if FSD had been engaged.

We issued this as a recommendation to NHTSA after the same type of crash occurred in Williston, Florida, in 2016. Tesla has yet to respond to any of our recommendations from Williston, Delray, or Mountainview.
