We are excited to share our trailer and crowdfunding campaign for our documentary in the works, ROAR. This is a film about feeling seen, understood and fully accepted for exactly who you are.
This is a joyful wrap on the Orlando chapter of filming our documentary, where we spent time with
@LionBoyTank
exploring his every day life! We are so thrilled to get to this point to spend time and film with the amazing Tank in Florida, and soon others.

Meet Tank (
@lionboytank
), a 21-year-old college student from Orlando, Florida, and a character in
@roardoc
. The furry fandom became his chosen family, fully accepting him as a transgender, neurodivergent man.
We’re down at the Dealers Den capturing some footage of you guys! Feel free to come say hello, we’ll be around the convention center all day!

We had such a blast hanging out with you all at the rave last night! It was wonderful ending the night surrounded by so much positive and fun energy!
We’re back up bright and early today to venture back out into the con space, we can’t wait to film more of you all.
“It took me so long in my life to finally come into and be comfortable with my identity of being disabled,” said Chrysanthemum, 23, of Maine.
We met @/chrysmuu at Anthrocon 2023. She’s an international award-winning cosplayer, seamstress attending her first furry convention.
We hope to raise funds so we can finish our Documentary: ROAR!
Films are expensive with travel, editing, color, sound, and film festivals. We want to make a powerful film, but we need your help! Please check out our campaign site and consider donating!
Disclaimer: Please note that even though we have Press Passes, and are allowed fo film throughout the con, we always do our best to make sure to ask those we film individually for permission first! Safety and comfortability is our biggest concern!
Our crowdfunding campaign lasts just two more weeks! Funding our campaign means we could travel to Florida and film Tank in his everyday life.
If you are moved by Tank's story, we'd be honored if you'd consider a donation or just spread the word.

We had a Press Pass and were given permission to film in the con space, however we will be more mindful in the future if it’s preferred to not film during the parade waiting/line up phase. Thank you for sharing!

Hello! We have not personally hidden any comments, we know Twitter occasionally naturally hides comments but it certainly wasn’t done on our part. Thank you to both of you for your feedback!
We will be sharing more of her story in
@roardoc
and would like to travel to Maine to document more of Chrysanthem's life.
If you are moved by her story, consider helping us get there and contributing to our crowding funding campaign.
