Just got a pair of the Meta Raybans... holy shit. These glasses will probably bring a larger net plus to my daily life than Vision Pro. They're very light. Look a little bulky on me, but worth it. Pro tip: turn the Meta AI voice to 1.75x to increase your rate of passive

I played Population One on Quest 3, and I 100% prefer it over Quest Pro w/ PC Link. Quest 3's graphics for Pop One are easily on par with PC. I don't even know if that's technically accurate, but it feels that way. + higher FOV, higher PPD, untethered... its an easy choice. I

The whole "VR is isolating and people will never wear it" shtick is getting old, folks. Far more likely that people spend hours a day wearing big(ger) headsets at home than clunky glasses outside. Small AR/AI glasses that made the right tradeoffs to slim their product

If Apple can sell 1M $3,500 headsets in 1 year, Meta is in big trouble and their lead is slimmer than I expected. The biggest issue is retention for Meta (still). If 75% of those 20M Quests were in monthly use, it wouldn't be such a travesty.

Near retinal resolution verifocal headset prototype from Meta… wow. I’ve never seen a clearer headset, let alone one where you can focus up close to things mere inches from your eyes. Doubtful we’ll see any implementation in product any time soon, but the future is bright!

QuestCam is the single best thing you can add to your VR game. When the SDK is out it will be rapid to set up and allow your Quest players to take videos inside your VR world. First games of many are launching it next week.

I honestly doubt a sub-$200 Quest headset will encourage significantly greater adoption of VR/MR. People will pay for an experience that is good. Especially when the experience needing to be good is one that could replace their laptop, TV, and monitor setup.

Quest 3 laying down mode… I’m pretty impressed with how good the tradeoff of immersion for comfort is. I feel 75% as immersed for 150% the comfort in several games. That’s worth it and will probably account for 1/10 sessions for me at least. Of the ones I’ve tried, these
