50 doctors, 50 personal trainers and 50 dietitians were asked: "When someone loses weight, where does it go?" Only 2 dietitians got the right answer = you breathe it out as carbon dioxide and water 0 doctors said "I don't know" This explains A LOT 😂😂

Taking 2.4 mg of semaglutide (Ozempic) for 68 weeks resulted in a reduction of food intake and a loss of nearly 17% of body weight But the weight you lose from this drugs is different than the typical weight that's lost from dieting or bariatric surgery.

Contrary to what you've been told, high blood pressure ISN'T caused by eating 🧂salt 🥩animal foods 🧀saturated fat A major cause of blood pressure is 🧪insulin resistance (the bad kind) The 3 food devils causing insulin resistance are 🌱flour 🌽high omega-6 seed oils 🍭sugar

New study: Gut bacteria convert choline from RED MEAT into TMA, which becomes TMAO, a chemical that may cause cardiovascular disease. Berberine, a natural molecule that lowers blood sugar (like metformin does) also inhibits production of TMAO 💪

Fred Kummerow, PhD, 1st published his findings about the harm of veg oil trans fats in 1957. Often heckled by industry reps at scientific conferences, he did not give up. Age 98, he sued FDA & prevailed. Ban went into effect 58 years after he first documented trans harm.

we don't assume gorillas, cats, dogs, whales or rats all need special individualized diets. why? because we apply the precious framework of evolutionary biology but not for humans. we discard it, returning us back to the #darkages of #nutrition

Linoleic acid ≠ inherently toxic. Concentrate it into a bottle & oxidize it, now you’ve got a problem Sucrose ≠ inherently toxic. Concentrate it into a fruit smoothie, now you’ve got a problem Starch ≠ inherently toxic. Concentrate it into a flour, now you’ve got a problem

As I've always said, emergency medicine is a marvel of modern civilization The medicine of general health however is actively harmful, as well as being a corrupt and pseudoscientific enterprise

"You can be Vegan 🌱 and be healthy" i disagree, at best you can slow down malnourishment with extensive supplementation and if we use the (better, imo) standard of being a vegan throughout your whole life (i.e. infancy to adulthood), it will most likely handicap &/or kill you

sure, lets trust the corrupt, evolution and science denying institutions who told us - seed oils were healthy - a calorie from bread is equivalent to a calorie from salmon - dietary cholesterol raised blood cholesterol - saturated fat is unhealthy - red meat is cancerogenic 🤣

linoleic acid found in high omega-6 seed oils can mess with your delicate cardiolipin which gives your all-important mitochondria much of their shape & behavior. this disrupts (ATP-coupled) respiration it's oncogenic so if you're worried about #cancer , make #butter your friend!
