Conflating or mistaking e-motorbikes with / for e-bikes is bad journalism and has the effect of making all e-bikes prone to suspicion of illegality. It's actually simple. An E-bike is a cycle that is pedal assisted to 15.5mph. An E-motorbike is effectively everything else.

In December, our riders covered close to 25,000km. We've been loud about cargo bikes being the most efficient way of doing logistics in cities. They're also the most CO2 efficient technology. Last month, we saved about 6t of CO2 just by doing our job. Thread & article below 🧵

We’re collecting data on where these inconvenient and illegal barriers are in place; hopefully to allow us to help get them removed - or at least mapped to allow those using cargo bikes, mobility scooters and adaptive cycles to avoid them.
