TIL that 'Narine' in the name of Sunil Narine isn't an Anglicised version of the Indian name 'Narayan'. It is rather short for 'Narendra Singh' - which was Anglicised at 'Narinesingh'. Another funny bit of trivia into names. I came across the name of the singer in the Gangs
