The assumption that romance immediately means a series is shojo is inherently harmful to the perception of all demos. As well, no single demo does any genre objectively better than the others as they all present these stories in different ways to appeal to their target audience.

Case Closed (Detective Conan) is among the Weekly Shonen Sunday titles available on the Viz Media app. Chapters 917-1099 are missing, but it’s noted they will be backfilled. This is huge for fans of this series as the physical English release is still eight years behind.
