Four palaces and what remains of four entrance doors to the city.. are places that you can learn a lot about the history of Seoul. They're also very photogenic I might add. It shows perfect contrast between the old and new, which I feel is the essence of this city.
Seoul N Tower, still Namsan Tower to us stubborn locals, is easily spotted in many different parts of the city. And yet, whenever you see it, you can't help but take a photo. It's an iconic structure that makes Seoul, Seoul.
I photograph apartments in winter. Most Koreans don't think much of these structures, but if you give your attention and care, it blossoms into something beautiful. It's not what you see. It's how you see it.
