A little word on commutativity acceptance. If the answer we are looking for is 15+3=18 we would accept 3+15=18 but NOT 13+5=18 .. each number part must match - Nerdle wants the same numbers. We can’t have everyone winning with a different set of numbers :-)

Hi all. There were a lot of questions on today's Nerdle challenge, mostly relating to 'order of operations'. Don't forget that * takes priority over + or -. So 1+2*3 = 7, not 9 as the multiplication is calculated first as explained here . i.e.....

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝟐: Implied fractions/decimals? The 3/7 was tricky, but fractions are fine in nerdle as long as the final answer is integer. Also, 7ths give a nasty decimal and calculator rounding errors. So think fractions: if one 7th of 21 =3. Then three 7ths of 21 =9. Simple!
