Do not take money from a VC who hasn’t run a company for a few years / period. It won’t work out. I’m in deals with a couple and they’re useless. All they do is drain energy / never help. 💯 of the time.

@andruyeung It’s so great along the waterfront. Check out the Genesis store / next to meatpacking in meatpacking. Really cool bar, restaurant upstairs. They actually have a very cool event space / might be worth checking out.

@schlaf @notion My highest performing investments have been based on intuition and how I feel about the market and founders. Not the best approach for everyone but all seed companies that I funded and have a valuation of $1b+ fit this criteria. SFSC, Uber, Sonder, Carta. We do have 10 filters.

This is kind of crazy. I’m still at pretty large shareholder in Uber, but the same exact car service is half price on Lyft curbside at LAX actually just under half price. No chance I’m gonna pay double for the same ride.

@BrianBrackeen That’s not necessarily true. I’ve made 3 investments at $50k or less (out of funds $50m or less or personal $) and made 200x-10,000x my investment (and many more at 10x, which is a win). Asking about a trillion $$ exit is silly, though.
