@ShawnaGofABPoli @ryanjespersen Yup. You can’t run ORs without nurses, housekeeping, etc. AHS won’t staff them, so they use private facilities that pay nurses bare min hours, no benefits, no guaranteed work days, and make them do all the tasks otherwise done by clerks and housekeeping.

@TheHenleyShift And they aren’t filling them. Former AHS nurse here. As of February, DS imposed a hiring freeze. Positions vacated are not to be filled, save a few specific areas. All to save money for her “refocusing”. Reddit is full of RNs who have applied to AHS and never heard back.
