@HeiHowl @TheFirstOkiro Ariel being white is not essential to her character, similar to pretty much any Disney princess, even Snow White, because arguably it's meant to suggest fair skin, not "white" European skin. Merida from Brave, being white is important, or Tiana from P&TF being black.
