True. Karnataka cuisine is overrated. Most of the dishes are bland or sweet. Coastal Andhra and Southern Tamil Nadu (Madurai, Karaikudi etc) cuisines are the best South Indian cuisines. But kannada PR machinery is very big on SM and Telugus don't know how to market themselves.
