The biggest blunder here is when Cook could’ve bought $TSLA around $20 a share back during crisis days as
@elonmusk
has mentioned himself that Cook never even picked up the calls from him
@JoePompliano
@SquawkCNBC
Not surprised. My wife bought this for herself and all her mommy friends. Good product (but heavy af). Doubles as a defence weapon.
@ProducerDrew_
In order:
1) Mackinnon
2) McDavid
3) Barkov
4) Crosby
5) Matthews
And if we’re talking complete overall, Barkov easy

. The omission of his name to include Draisaitl or Matthews is hysterical
@flpanthersmuse
This was the most epic comeback of comebacks in the history of NHL playoffs. 'Best' team in NHL history giving up a 3-1 series lead into G7 with a 6-on-5 goal into forced OT
This is awful news. $TSLA growth not only slowing, but going in reverse. Xiaomi SU7 is the epitome of what's wrong with $TSLA in China and how they misunderstand what the local consumer wants in their EV.
@BigHeadHcky
When Pettersson signed, countless argued with me that it was a good contract. That aged like milk.
Barkov is $10m and Tkachuk/Kuch $9.5. Tax free states making these other signings look bad.
Having been working retail smartphone sales at the time, I can attest that the industry was blindsided entirely by $AAPL. I remember the $BB regional manager telling me the iPhone was a joke and won’t survive when I raised concern about consumer iPhone interest 🤣
When Steve Jobs unveiled the iPhone in Jan 2007, the maker of BlackBerry — Research in Motion (RIM) — had a market cap near Apple's ($60B vs. $75B).
Now, it’s $5B vs. ~$3T.
While Jobs positioned iPhone perfectly, RIM made 5 decisions that led to its fall.
Here's a breakdown🧵
@SportsnetSpec
+12 when 2 series were vs VAN LAK. Give me a break. Edmonton homer bias. Barkov had to play against Kuch Pastrnak Panarin. Simplifying your bias by using plus/minus and point totals misses the forest for the trees. There are many things Barkov does that do not show up on paper.
@GerberKawasaki
I sold a large position above $280 after holding sub $40 for 8 years. I might re-enter gradually $108-130.
The growth narrative is not nearly as clear/strong as it was 2018-2022 and I’m not sure the current price is offsetting enough risk to a level I am comfortable with.
@pakpakchicken
This is actually the truth. I didn’t like the way $TSLA guidance and outlook was for 2023+ and my investment thesis was showing weakness cracks so I trimmed/hedged in 2021-22 and eventually sold in 2023. I originally bought sub $40 and sold my condo to go all in in 2019. I
@saxena_puru
You’re way off here Puru. I find it questionable that you sold $NVDA and bought $TSLA (before the dip) - with respect, it seems like your fundamental tech understandings aren’t polished
@TrendSpider
More trash leading posts by Trendspider. Tell me, do bubbles typically involve the poster boy’s forward PE compressing as the stock rises? If not, why post this irrelevant garbage?
@BizNasty2point0
Hard agree here. I see MacK or Kuch taking it. But if I had to choose with a gun to head, Kuch. His point gap among teammates, 50% contribution to overall team goals is astounding.
@SawyerMerritt
$TSLA was replaced by $NVDA as the

stock traded by capitalization and among retail and the trend started around Sep 2023. $BTC is also hot among retail. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on.
@BizNasty2point0
Been saying this for years. Mcdavid Mack best offensive but most complete forward is easily Barkov. He has shut down Kuch Panarin Pastrnak McDavid Mackinnon (reg season) and Drai. Obviously having Bob in net helps but he’s still the best.
@TSLAFanMtl
So roughly $2.20 2024 EPS. A fair multiple is 50. Some argue that’s too high given recent margin/growth trends. That’s $110 fair value.
How far we’ve fallen. I remember 2024 EPS was supposed to be over $7.00 not even a few years ago.
@garyblack00
$TSLA shorts also never understood software advantages thinking legacy auto can suddenly switch their platoons of mechanical engineers into software engineers
@TSLAFanMtl
Worst take I've seen on the Q1 print lol. Inventory +46k this Q and likely around 130-150k globally now. Attributing this to supply issues is hilarious
@DaleDMedia
@Rainmaker1973
It was their best selling feature. I was a sales rep for them in 2007-09 and know this first hand. This case can do well if the keyboard is as tactile as the BB.
@Howlingmutant0
@VigilantFox
If only I screenshotted all the arguments he got into online with the gaming community (teamliquid forums) back in early 2010s, his ‘credibility’ would instantly plummet. Universally disliked and hated
@garyblack00
Again, while this news definitely contributes, $TSLA printed a very bearish diamond top formation and a bearish pennant in past 2 months. Price targets are 160-175. We are oversold in short term but do not be surprised if we see sub 175 by Jan.
@DivesTech
@SquawkStreet
Surprised you didn't call this a black eye print Dan. On a scale of 1-10, this is a 0. China is a major problem for Tesla. Xiaomi SU7 sells 100k+ in ~60 hours. It's a M3 killer. There are multiple of potential MY killers coming too.
I hope you take a realistic approach to this
Today's $TSLA price cuts say more than it seems. It looked like $TSLA was going for the path of maximum earnings, throttled production and remove price cuts.
However, it looks like it's decided to go down the other path: maximum user base for FSD. This means price cuts will

The west wanted cheap labor and got it from outsourcing and now you’re saying the west is crying foul play due to capitalism and efficient markets?
If what you say is true, then China should be perpetually behind because copying inherently suggests being behind. China/Asia has
@CultureCrave
Starts strong, finishes not so strong. Plot armor way too thick. Animation similar to Arcane which I found better. And I’m a huge fan of samurai history.
@garyblack00
The way $AAPL convinced BlackBerry and RIM users was via the App Store. Tesla hasn’t pushed the equivalent so the comparison stops about there.
@SawyerMerritt
You know things aren’t good when the only bullish tweets from Sawyer in the past year are basically rappers and celebs posting their CTs
Some people have been asking for my positioning. It hasn't changed for 3 months.
Long $NVDA
Long $PLTR
Short $TSLA
The rotation from $TSLA in Mag7 into $NVDA was only one thesis. $TSLA is in a demand-gap year. I've been saying this for 9+ months. I closed my $TSLA shares I
@Awful_NHeller
@ProducerDrew_
How many cups does he have? How many series have they won in his tenure? How many Selke wins? He’s the best finisher in NHL but not a top 4 center. Try again
@ChurchOfMontour
@solarbearfan
Not impossible. If Rein signs 8.5-9m and Montour 5.5-6m. They’d have to take team friendly deals, just like Barky Tkachuk and Forsling.
@Sportsnet
Coyle was in the crease on his own will. If Bennett didn’t shove him, he’d still be there in the crease. He’s still obstructing Swayman with or without the push. Therefore it’s a good goal.

@gwestr
Just as Nokia claimed all the smartphone profits right? There’s a funny email that leaked Nokia laughing at Apples “no-button” phone.. wonder where those execs are now
$TSLA company compiled consensus is at 431k. I estimated 430k as the whisper number several weeks ago - now I wonder if it's actually lower (~420k). Regardless, any number below 423k is a YoY decline and will result in a negative reaction to the stock. How much depends on what
@TSLAFanMtl
Sub 450k likely and never seen Tesla sales so desperate. They’ve called me literally for Model 3 Y S and X despite knowing I have an early CT reso
@ray4tesla
This post makes little sense when forward earnings are compressing. We said look at forward earnings for years when PE was sky high (and we were right), can’t conveniently look at trailing PE now while still a growth stock
@JilianneParker
What’s the point of this tweet? Clickbait city. It’s quite common knowledge that there’s 2 computers controlling Teslas - you can’t shut off the drive computer
@garyblack00
I believe the whisper number is around 430k as well. However, I do not think the bad news is ‘nearly fully’ priced in. A YoY decline below 423k would be a very negative headline and send the stock down 5-10%. A number below 400k would be a nose dive down 10-20%.
@saxena_puru
@RayDalio
Comparing these two is hilarious. One is on the edge of parallel compute with a large moat and the other was a network hardware provider with a thin moat.
@The_AI_Investor
Berkshire isn’t founded on a model of identifying visionary leaders. They know their strengths and weaknesses and stick in their lanes. That’s why they’re so successful. By ignoring these two, they found success elsewhere. Nothing wrong with that.
@SawyerMerritt
This is the result of panic from imposters at the executive level pretending to adapt to survive to please shareholders - eerily similar to Nokia/Blackberry's attempts to stay relevant with the iPhone
@dstaples
Barkov knows the line for slashes. He doesn’t cross it often. Look at 5 years of historical penalty data. He is one of the bottom 3 least penalized players.
Today's $TSLA movement (7%+ at high) from bullish FSD news sets up an interesting inverse h/s pattern going into Apr 2 delivery print. I expected ~165 into the print, but this bumps my expectation up to ~171-175.
I still expect a -5-10% drop on Apr 2 although unsure how much
