Had a long time landlord pass away this week. 2nd one this year. Really puts the future up in the air. This landlord did a lot for me. He gave a 19 y old kid with a junk combine a chance to harvest his crops in my second year doing so.

Then when finished he asked “your coming back next year aren’t you” My first consistent customer. I harvested his crops for several years until he decided to hang it up. Then he asked me to farm his ground. It was a huge step for us. One of our biggest farms at the time.
