Too much TB discourse and not enough praise for SD behaving like teams should behave. Spending money (Hosmer, Machado), trading for high-end talent when available (Clevinger, Snell), not manipulating service time (Tatis, Paddack). Bravo. Wish more teams were like this.

Giancarlo Stanton is making his 81st consecutive start tonight despite nursing a tight hamstring for over a month now. He's hit .298/.369/.554 with 21 homers in the previous 80 games. Been a monster while playing hurt and never missing a game. Feels weirdly underappreciated.
