Pride Nights are a way for baseball and its teams to say “Not here. Here, you’re welcome to cheer on this team that means so much to so many people. You are each welcome and accepted as people.” So maybe you can see why opposing them (or refusing to have one) is such a big deal.

Rangers confirm that Joey Gallo has tested positive for COVID-19. On 6/29 got positive test. Did follow-up test on 6/30 and it came back negative. Waited 48 hours, and 7/2 test came back positive yesterday. Is asymptomatic, quarantining at home.
