journaling in target language it has helped me progress faster than anyone i know personally because of its frequency i have written over 700 pages of Portuguese journals this year also drilling pronunciation or speaking into your phone to express random thoughts/spontaneity

i used to be jealous of people born into bilingual households as a child i had to build my polyglottism brick by brick so now that i know 4 langs im very proud i think its better this way cause a lot of the bilinguals i knew back in school remained bilingual

People are only supportive of mental health when its a concept they’re familiar with. When I try to open up about my schizophrenia that same support for severe mental illness turns into vanishes. The stigma is so strong and I hate how I’m silenced when talking of my suffering.
