Here's some AI stuff SAG isn't accounting for: You cant have informed consent if you don't know how AI works. A digital double is not AI thats a VFX term. Gen AI works differently & this agreement doesn't cover it. Frontier AI (AI in the next couple years) is even more different

Some advice for VAs asking me about breaking into video games: Don't think you're better than NPC or smaller roles. They can be called in for longer sessions or more often than some leads, plus you get so much variety! Be humble, be useful. Just do the work.

5 years ago I hadn’t even considered voice acting. I was living in Seattle, working in IT, guiding devs to make healthcare software & getting yelled at by Doctors, Medical Directors & CIOs every day about things I couldn’t control. I had stress ulcers & cried every Sunday. Now?

This weekend a guy rushed me as I was getting in my car, knocking on my window as I was pulling out. When I didn't open my window he got angry, hopped in his car & followed me. I'm fine, but here's some safety tips I learned from police & others more experienced than me

Sometimes it's really frustrating being a remote voice actor - it always just feels like you're a little bit invisible all the time. To reps, to peers, to most people. Like being a ghost. Imma keep haunting anyway though.

Hey, if you’re a “pro”, whatever industry you’re in like acting, dev, art, casting, etc…maybe don’t punch down and insult, condescend to, or publicly blast new people for not knowing what they’re doing. It’s shitty. Educate. Punch up.

VAs, normalize taking time off & breaks. You don't need to audition if you just had surgery, are sick or depressed. This is a just job, don't let it kill you or be all that you are. Your agents/mgrs will understand. If they don't, they don't have your best interests at heart.
