The manner of Vera Pauw's exit should not impact on her legacy as one of the most successful RoI managers - MNT or WNT - ever. FAI have not covered themselves in glory here. Sending her to Oz without a contract made her a lame duck and left her open to challenge.
Micheál Martin should learn to respond better to questioning and being challenged. Getting tetchy and narky with an interviewer posing utterly justified questions is not a good look and doesn't help with the public outrage.

Dara Calleary can shove his apology and tender his resignation instead. 2 weeks ago everyone in Kildare, Laois and Offaly had to cancel events and holidays at a few hours' notice, but he decided to go ahead with his golf. Unbelievable.
Can't believe
@IndoSport
have a story on their site with the pictures showing - frame by frame - Tom Parsons' dreadful injury. Graphic content warning is pure clickbait. Low.
There's some really great reading in the

There's currently 180,000 people watching a man in a field live-stream planes landing at Heathrow. He's got BBC and ITV ringing him and Channel 4 attempting to climb a fence to interview him. Happy Friday.

‘Can you fast forward the ads?’
‘No I can’t, it’s on live.’
‘Daddy can.’
‘It must have been something that was recorded then.’
‘Maybe daddy is the best.’
This is how my 2 year old ranks her parents.

Yeah but why should 80 million Germans be held to ransom by less than 18m Brits who want out? The answer is for Britain to forget about Brexit

My corner of Twitter is obviously wildly weighted towards sport, but even still, the level of love for

Got sick of sitting at my makeshift desk last night so ordered one from at 10pm, and it arrived this morning at 10am. Unbelievable service for anyone

This is exactly why you need women in the room for decision making, not just on the pitch or sideline. Women are not just small men when it comes to kit.
#cantseecantbe
Update on shirt-gate. Harlequins have confirmed the official Big Game jersey was only made in "one fit, for both men's and women's teams by Adidas." Which is a roundabout way of saying 'men's kit' because I can't see Joe Marler fitting into Vickii Cornborough's shirt, IMO (1/5)
