Branding your daughter as your husband’s first wife regardless the basis is so bewildering.
Right up there with single/unmarried women referring to their sons as the “man of the house” or “my hubby” .
Sigmund Freud is surely having a ball in his grave.
Twitter is interesting ‘cause it erases the social/cultural/economic boundaries that exist in real life. You get to access thoughts and conversations that you wouldn’t necessarily have access to in real life
Healthcare is so inaccessible for the average person. The price of medicines? The consultation fees? The cost of missing work to spend an entire day at a public facility? It is all too much!
I don’t know why it irks me when I see people wear other regions traditional clothing at their weddings, especially if it’s not cross cultural 😭 It’s like wearing Xhosa attire when you’re very much Zulu at your wedding. Like why are you dressed like you’re from Ghana or Nigeria?
@reyah_n
A white wedding is also a traditional wedding. Traditional European wedding. A white gown & veil, throwing of a gutter etc. have no significance for most black people and yet they do it cause they want to. I don’t see a problem if I want to wear Isishweshwe to a Zulu wed either
In my experience, girls who say this are generally horrible people in nature.
They prefer men as friends ‘cause men won’t hold them accountable for their bullshit. These “male friends” let them get away with anything cause they’re hoping for a chance to get in their pants
Nobody has a story to tell about their stepfathers cause men don’t even allow their step kids into their marital home.
They just start another family with the mom and the step kids get raised by their maternal grandparents
If women are inherently a better parent why do most people who were raised by stepmothers have a bad story to tell about their upbringing as compared to stepfathers?
This man left his car at the car wash, walked to my workplace, drove me to the salon then took my car to the car wash. He’s now back here at the salon, with food, waiting for me to finish🥺
We celebrat/congratulate a woman who is expecting her second child with two different men. Yet still unmarried.
It shows how we are dysfunctional as a society and keep creating future problems today.
I will celebrate the child when she/he is born and not the mother.
