I have #audhd burnout. Ever since December: I'm tired every day. I never feel like I've "woken up" despite getting adequate sleep. I've experimented with coffee/ other stimulants and I can't seem to shake the exhaustion. My ideal weekend is laying in bed, where before it was

My family calls me peculiar... Because I notice the: - seams of my clothing on my skin - texture of the 3rd bite of banana in my mouth - sound of an appliance, like the humming of the fridge - flickering light bulb that you swear isn't flickering and so much more...

Being #neurodivergent is exhausting. I spend more time thinking about conversations than having conversations. - Rehearsing in my head over and over and over - Watching YouTube videos on “how to speak to people” - Creating scripts and prepared responses to common questions

I often feel like I’m not “autistic enough” to tell people I’m autistic. Let me explain… I was diagnosed with adhd first. I was given a multi hour adhd assessment by a psychiatrist which consisted of timed tests and memorization tasks. At the end, it was like “finally I know

My gut reaction in a professional environment is to over-apologize. “Sorry, didn’t mean to cut you off” “Sorry, that’s what I was trying to say” “Sorry for any confusion, we’re on the same page” “Sorry, I’m still working on that” Is this a #neurodivergent thing?
