i like to draw animals & design stuff , paleontology enthusiast , digital artist and industrial designer in process π€ 20π²π½. comissions open btw
Since Geese unironically make for great guard animals due to naturally being territorial and difficult to bribe unlike dogs
Imagine a Guard Gastornisπ(its canon in the HE, they even use the birds as forest steeds)
Less than a month of life and the dodo chick already has grown quite a bit ,if it wants to survive it must attain sexual maturity before the next cyclone season.
Somewhere around late September mother and young patrol a coast in search of Sideroxylon grandiflorumβs fruits
Just finished this Comission earlier today ,a male moa jumps in distress after a haastβs eagle grabs its neck while a kea supervises the hunt

Had a crack at reconstructing the walking gait of meilifeilong ,the overall pattern doesnβt seem to differ much within pterosaurs so it may apply to most of them

so i have this theory that pikmin are seen that way by olimar (an alien without frame of reference for earth organisms) as a way of trying to understand their anatomy
Interpreted here as Eusocial insects from an alternative earth where ants never were ,close to mantispidae

Indeed ,the smallest of them all maked sense to me ,as for skipper I picked the snares-penguin, (Eudyptes robustus )it had that boxy front profile to the head and was in the ballpark for the perfect height I was searching
Plesiouschus ,a BIIG marine crocodiliform from the Jurassic of Europe
It was supposed to be a quick-ish exploration on this beast but it turned into a full illustration

Little stylization experiment ,with flamingoes on the polar opposites of the character spectrum ,wonder what other critters could be interesting to explore in this way

5 millions post human extinction
Coming from a early diverging group a species rised to feed on an unusual source
with the early booms in populations and close proximity that seahorses had to cope with (due to cohabiting only on the innermost branches of algae )π§΅
River horse ,around 70 millions years after seeding ,and already adapted for fresh water for a while this group of fishes sift trough the muck of banks and estuaries where they feed on every food particle bivalves missed and are unable to acces once it settles
Almost exactly a year from now ,when I started doing digital I made this terrestrial predator evolved from batfish biggest land fish on their island ,15 cms long they live most like mudskippers if they could properly walk
