My visit to San Francisco has been a trip down memory lane. The city gets a bad rap these days. Rightfully so. Downtown is dead. So many stores are boarded up and/or empty. Restaurants closed. Bars gone. Sidewalks filthy. Homeless tents line Masonic. Signs of failure everywhere.
