Lolita fashion IS VERY MUCH a slow af fashion. I know a whole lot of people who keep their pieces and wear them many times for YEARS. New and used for whatever reason it is often circulated within avid lolitas. People still want specific pieces that are 10 years old!

Almost done. Redid the bodice lace. No front buttons (floppy no matter how tight I stitch them because of the shank). Softer shirring elastic. Side zipper (pain in the ass to add). I miscalculated the skirt length so it’s about 2 cm shorter than standard but it is 50 cm long.

To anyone concerned about wearing lolita fashion out: you don’t need a special occasion to wear it outside. You can just go to Target for essentials in lolita fashion if you like. I go on bike rides and just eat McD’s in lolita fashion at a nearby park sometimes.
