I loathe the term 'anti-football'. It suggests that football should be played in a certain manner and otherwise it's not football. It's a very toxic idea and it leads to players, and coaches to focus/be judged on it too. Imo, a solid defensive organisation can exciting too.

Looking back at Stina Blackstenius in Damallsvenskan 2021, and she was ridiculously good. She still is very good, but it also confirmed something to me: What made her elite at BK Häcken is not being utilised at Arsenal at the moment.

Racial bias in scouting is a big problem. It's so corrupted in our minds that we assign certain position roles to certain races. This also means that's not easy to eradicate and we need to re-train ourselves in abolishing such behaviour.

My aim has never been to be a head coach, perhaps some call that a lack of ambition. My character, and my dealings with mental health, make me much more suitable as an assistant or my biggest ambition: set-piece coach or defence specialist coach. I'm glad this is coming closer.

Finally, I can say I'm a UEFA A qualified coach. It took some while to get certified - oh the thrills and joys of doing courses in different countries - and I'm proud of myself. On to the next journey and challenges ahead 💪
