Most people blame Ozai for the way Azula turned out, but most of the credit should go to her moms. She saw the way azula was and instead of trying to be her mother and change her for the better she just decided to be a mother only to Zuko instead
that person that was saying that zuko was AWAYS a good person also said that iroh was aways a good person despite being a general for half of his life and killing a bunch of innocents and that azula is evil by nature and irredeemable ...
I have a problem with post atla content (except spirit temple) bc they paint azula as this crazy girl as if she has AWAYS been like that. It's so infuriating especially bc she was having a mental breakdown and they reduced her to "crazy and insane woman"
@atlabrainrott
Yeah they are clingy but come on... Just a little kiss during a play no one saw it ๐ญ Zuko is sad for many reasons, his beautiful gf just broke up with him, Azula is being a pain in his ass, lots of family drama... But yeah it's funny af ๐
when i've read smoke and shadow and I saw this scene I was dumbfounded, like no way that she's also a REALLY good firebender... they didn't even tried to hide that kiyi is a replacement
so iroh and zuko were aways good people despite doing bad things due to extremist ideologies, but azula (who also did bad things due to extremist ideologies) is just inherently evil???
americans really can't grasp that every country is different than them, Brasil DOESN'T hide black people bffr and stop talking about things that you don't understand
hey my fellow
#azula
stans, have you ever thought about how azula didn't have a normal childhood because she got turned into a war weapon and ALSO didn't have a normal adolescence bc she was locked up in the asylum at 15 years old?? because I do
Imagine Azula all alone, contemplating giving up. She buries her head in her hands, feeling tears starting to form, when suddenly she feels a tiny hand on her shoulder. She looks up, and there they are: hundreds of minions ready to have her as their leader (and take care of her
like, all zuko had to do was kept going at her and be sarcastic >after< azula was unable to firebend, but no, the dumb ass had to open his mouth at the worst moment possible.
the whole show is aang learning how to bend the other 3 elements so he could face ozai, but these people think that he alone would be able to stop the genocide like???
oomfie..... at least iroh tried.......... ๐ while he dedicated his time to do this azula slander... why he keep beefing with her after all those years smh ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
if we get an Azula redemption arc we probably gonna have a REAL scene of Ursa hug Azula and forgive her like what happened with Kuvira ... a real scene and not just an imagination๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐๐๐
post azula redemption tyzula: Azula feels bad about being shitty to Ty Lee in the past, so she swore to herself that she would NEVER make Ty Lee feel bad again. so she does everything Ty Lee wants just to see her happy. dating monthiversary? she'll throw a big party.
the worst era of the ATLA fandom was when the netflix show first came out and we kept seeing shitty takes of azula being this horrible unredeemable monster even tho she was literally 14 and a highschool freshman โ ๏ธโ ๏ธ
@hermomoness
Zuko canonically admits he was a bad person, but the idiot who watched the show with his eyes closed swears he was always a saint. so ridiculous...
i'm bitter af so something that pisses me off is when i see an azula fanart that is set in the real word and she's in a mini skirt and a crop top OR a redesign that shows her chest and a lot of skin.. like please azula is covered up 90% of the time she would never wear these
@degenerate89691
she never threw rocks at the turtleducks, it was bread and yes,he is a hypocrite since he believes in second chances and redemption. It's also funny (and more hypocrite) considering that Iroh was terrible when he was a general, but got better and became a good person.
I hc that there's a lot of air nomads in hiding but they aren't able to bend as much since airbending is heavily tied to the culture/practice/religion that they were forces to let go in order to survive fn
she has good in her, but she doesn't believe that she has๐ญ and I could write a whole paragraph about how her view on being someone (good or bad in this case) from birth it's the thing that keeps her away from being better and genuinely happy๐ญ๐ญ
i do think Mai loved Azula like she was her best friend, but in those years they spent apart Azula changed bc Ozai, she started trying to control her through fear instead of being her friend
cansada de ler as fics e a azula ser uma alfa dominante tipo???? ela รฉ uma tapada quando se trata de interagir normalmente com outra pessoa vรฉi kkkkkkkk
I really like the ideia of azula healing with zuko's help, but I love the idea that she meets new people that has nothing in common with her "old" life and with these new people she has new life experiences
She is such a tragic character. She did everything right, trained hard, was the best, believed all the lies without questioning and in the end it was all for nothing. She sacrificed her life and her relationships for the nation (and her dad) just to end up alone and aimless.
matching outfit? half of her wardrobe will be pink. sweet nicknames? Azula searched for all the nicknames that exist just for Ty Lee. be civil to people she hates? She will behave.
unpopular opinion about the
#AvatarTheLastAirbender
live action: the fire nation characters (Zuko, Iroh, azula, ozai and zhao) and their plot lines were literally the best part of the series, like they carried the live action.
that loser roku can NOT bend blue fire, whoever the writer is needs to be serious and stop stealing whats unique to azula๐ญ๐ญ why couldnt this boring writer come up w something new
@kataraist
it's so weird seeing people trying to downplay the fn characters past actions. like, its okay to like characters that did bad things, but to minimize said actions??? especially in this context??? wtf
yeah azula doing a plank midfight is random and funny, but itโs also proof of how physically strong she is, that takes crazy strength plus her armour is making her heavier. I donโt like how sheโs drawn so skinny despite that, sheโs buff!! teen azula needs to have korraโs physique
this!!! I would've liked the concept of vaatu and raava if tlok had revealed that being the avatar is actually a curse as a result of wan separating the two entities
hatred is taught but also unlearned. Azula chose that path to the END after losing her friends and siblings. at some point the abused turned into the abuser and she liked it. her sheer brutality is apart of her villainous allure. the episode about their momโฆcome on.
Daniel Dae Kim can't wait to play out Fire Lord Ozai's descent into madness should 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' get renewed for season 2:
"A descent into madness sounds like juicy territory for an actor, and it's not something I've explored before on screen. Should we be lucky
โThere are certain roles I think that Katara did in the cartoon that we didnโt necessarily also do here. I mean, I donโt want to really get into a lot of that, but some gender issues that didnโt quite translate from the cartoon.โ - Albert Kim, producer of ATLA Live Action.
I'm rewatching natla and in the 7th episode they draw parallels between azula and katara when they want to fight back and show what they're capable of. So i'm thinking, will they put more emphasis on the similarities of these two in the next seasons?? I really hope they do๐
