I have to make an apology to the Batfleck bros. This is going to be a long thread. TLDR: I was mistaken.
A week ago I disparaged Batfleck on someone's twitter post. Something to the effect of "that movie sucks" or something like that.

Trump has no principles or beliefs or morals that i can see any evidence of. He literally says whatever he thinks he has to, to meet his objective.
Peter Attia is no longer taking statin drugs.
In the past Peter was using combo therapies of Statin/Pcsk9 inhibitors and defended statin therapy.
Based on this podcast, he appears to be walking it back.
He is now using Pcsk9 inhibitors, Bempedoic acid, and Ezetimibe.
Final statement:
Im very sorry. Not for making a disparaging comment about the film, but for doing so through my ass without having given the film a fair shake. I honestly don't understand the critics lambasting this film after it's release, because it's a great movie.
I was stuck to my seat from the opening to the close. Not only was this movie not terrible, it was good. Really good. The acting among all the cast was top tier. I particularly loved Holy Hunter as the Senator. Her acting in the scene just before the bomb went off was riveting.
My Thesis: Saturated Fat vs Carbs ::Very Long::
In the realm of dietary research, there are two prevalent perspectives: one that underscores the detrimental effects of carbohydrates and another that focuses on the negative impacts of saturated fats.

Batman V Superman is a great movie. I was not bored for one minute. Is it a perfect movie? No. I still consider Watchmen to be Snyder's crowning achievement, but this is easily my second favourite Snyder film, and now one of my top 3 Batman films.
And this brings us to The Bat. I have never seen such a violent Batman. Such an angry Batman. Such a vengeful murderous Batman. Bruce himself telling Albert they were and always have been criminals was on point. This Batman was a joy to watch on the screen.
Eisenberg was a great villain and was very believable psychotic/psychopathic, and mentally unstable. Perfect Arkham Asylum fodder. The story setup around his primary role was really well built.
Straight from comics history, this Batman bore the scars of 20 years of hopelessly fighting crime in Gotham. In his own words "Pluck one up, another grows in it's place". Affleck was so believably angry and burnt out by the awfulness of evil people, and willing to die for it.
The look on his face after the bomb went off grabbed me emotionally on the inside and nearly brought me to tears. He was so disappointed with himself for allowing so many to die. He was utterly destroyed. He hated himself.
Superman was incredible in this movie and it was so great to see him get so angry and human. One of my criticisms of MOS was his reticence to save his father in the storm or disregard for humans dying, but this movie played on exactly that problem, highlighting his weaknesses.

People will trust journalists when they move back to impartiality.
Even an attempt would be nice.
Instead, journalists everywhere are now nothing more than partisan pundits. Towing the party line of whichever side they picked.
Journalism is dead
Hailing back to Reeves who's characterization of Superman highlighted Superman's compassion for humans and it itself being his primary weakness and the one villains exploit him for, Cavil's Superman was entirely immersed in this problem throughout the movie
The scene where Superman first confronts him and tells him to bury the Batman was so tense. You could feel Batman was afraid of Superman's god like power, yet seething in hatred for him, believing him to be unchecked power with no care whatsoever for human life.
Criticisms:
The justice league setup is the weakest part of this film. I doubt this is Snyder's fault as he was probably forced into this by senseless Hollywood execs hell bent on copying Marvel's Avengers. Fortunately there was only a few minutes of the movie devoted to this.
A few of you were upset at my comment, but I chatted with a few of you after and conceded that maybe i should go back and give BVS a chance. One of you suggested I download the Extended Cut, so last night i did...
This problem is also why Marvel content has been hot garbage after End Game. These studios do not care about the fans or the source material. Wrong people making decisions. I believe if they had just let Snyder do what he wanted, the Justice League arch would not exist this way.
@dzoolander85
you dont play to the swing voters when you make such ridiculous statements. in fact youre no different than trump when you do this
seriously, if you want to win the minds of those who actually think, you’re going to have to do better than that.
This was a knee jerk comment based on how bad Justice League was and some of the things about Man of Steel that still disappoint me to this day. I had not actually sat through BVS.

We definitely need a free press. Unencumbered by government.
It would be nice, if only occasionally, for the press to act impartially though. They are often frequently more biased and partisan than the politicians themselves.
were fixated on getting that Marvel money at the expense of what would have been an infinitely better story arch and one the fans would have adored. It still makes me furious thinking about it. This is obviously not Snyders fault, but one of the major problems in Hollywood.
Doomsday should have gotten more buildup and character development throughout the film, rather than throwing him in last minute with no explanation. I also wish he had been portrayed with more intelligence, rather than this sort of (insert CG monster here) character.

Meta Criticism:
The Death of Superman at the hands of Doomsday is probably the most famous comic book story arch in all of comic book history, and rather than building these DC movies around this, the senseless Hollywood execs, who clearly do not care about the source material,
@MelissaMbarki
Greater provincial autonomy is the key to keeping this country together. The more the feds push for greater control, the more they spark separatism.
