@TobyTurner I am so sorry for your loss. For a bit of background on the vaccines: they usually take 2-3 weeks to take effect and do not completely protect you. They are roughly 90-95% effective in reducing symptoms and transmission. So my guess is either he was asymptomatic or reacted badly.

Support encompasses so many things such as different therapies, academic support, outings to different locations and experiences.
