📢 Important update on our next edition
It took a while, we considered every factor we could and the team decided to reschedule JSConf Budapest.
The new date for our event is September 23-24, 2021
Continuing our efforts from
@cssconfbudapest
, we donated more than 160 portions of leftover dinner to a shelter. We hope to do the same thing with today's lunch!
Come see our most diverse lineup ever! 22 talks by 23 speakers from all over the world, but there's more!
🛠️ Workshops, free for everyone with a ticket
💜 Community Lounge, lightning talks & panel discussions
☕️ Barista coffee
🥗 Inclusive catering
This week would be our 5th edition - but as you know, during the spring, we've decided to simply postpone 2020 to 2021.
Looking at the infection numbers in the region, we still feel that was a good and responsible decision to keep our attendees and the community safe ❤️

📿 Let’s wear some code 👚, this time
@stephaniecodes
will show her solution on how to make code alive. She will combine Machine Learning & JavaScript to build smart wearables, like jewelry and accessories that are responsive to the people around you.
We’re always amazed by the talents and possibilities in the JavaScript community! This year we’ve received 580 talk proposals from you, thank you everyone!
👏👏👏
Now its time for our team to read, read, read
Announcing more awesomeness:
✨🎤 WE HAVE AN MC 🎤 ✨
We've asked our alumni and master of dad jokes on stage, and he accepted instantly! Our MC for our next event is none other than
@TejasKumar_
Dont know about their logo yet, but this page itself is just sparkling with energy, love it!!!

📢 PSA 📢
We heard about ppl missing the deadline because of timezones. We’re all humans and yes, timezones are confusing.
Tomorrow we re-open the CFP form for an hour to help folks fix this issue:
March 03 2020
PST 12:00-13:00
EST 15:00-16:00
GMT 20:00-21:00
CET 21:00-22:00
HTTP 203 usually means Non-Authoritative Information, but can be fun to listen to!
It's also the title of Google’s probably most entertaining podcasts, which comes as an “Unplugged” live episode, on our stage in September by
@DasSurma
and
@jaffathecake
🎉
Want to attend JSConf Budapest, but you don't know how to reason with your boss?
We're here to help you! Talk to them about:
- why it is good against burnout
- learning & fun
- how can a community event inspire
- how cheap (311 EUR!)
- free workshops!

We’ve all heard of inspiring success stories in the tech industry. Somehow, we don’t tend to talk about failures, even though it’s those stories we learn the most from.
@silveira_bells
offers us a new perspective on the importance of making mistakes.
🥳 MC Announcement! 🎉
As in every year, we pass the mic for a talented member of the Community to own the stage.
This year our Master of Ceremony will be the one and only
@paul_v_m
!
Our CFP's are closed!
Thank you all people from the web community for your submissions and help! Thanks to you, we've received 603 talk submissions, which is a new record in our lifetime.
💖😻🥳 You folks are AWESOME 🥳 😻💖
We plan to have the selection results this month!
⚠️ Please don't send us any details about your talk via email ⚠️
We take the unbiased selection process very seriously. We can only select talks that we can't tie with the authors, and announcing your topic/title/etc. in advance makes that difficult.
No spoilers! Thank you!
📅Our CFP Closes in two weeks! 📅
