@RepBenninghoff
You are factually incorrect, representative. We would have results by now had counties been permitted to start canvassing their votes before yesterday. That was requested by Governor Wolf, but rejected by state republicans, aka you. We don’t have results, and it’s all your fault.
@PittTweet
It’s too bright. Bright enough to get in the way of focus. It’s not warm at all. It’s not a space I’d want to stay in and work. How loud is it in the spaces without carpet? Go across the park to the Carnegie, look at the second floor, and recreate that.
Life in the pandemic is hard when you live alone and feel like you have no contact with anyone. It’s lonely as fuck. What made the Peach Bowl so much fun was I felt like I was with my tribe. I was around people I had something in common with. I don’t take that for granted.
About tomorrow's opponent:
Nebraska is 32-1 overall, and 19-1 in the Big Ten, which was good for first place. They are the number 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament. 32-1 speaks for itself; they have been the best team in college volleyball so far this season.
I kind of expected this after she walked on senior night.
She’s a Pitt legend. 1 elite 8. 3 final fours. Some of the most memorable service runs.
She did the damn thing.
Thank you, Cat. I hope you get to call the final four one day.

This time tomorrow night I’ll either be really happy that Pitt will be playing for the natty or bummed the season is over, this Pitt team will be done, and vb szn will be 8 months away.
BTW: there is only way to describe this Pitt season, win or lose tmrw; a total success.
About tommorow's opponent:
The Louisville Cardinals are 27-4 overall, finishing 15-3 in ACC play, good for third place. They were the number 5 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
about tomorrow's opponent: Penn State is 8-0 and currently ranked 3rd in the country. They have some very big wins, at Kentucky (in a reverse sweep), and swept Louisville at home. They are a very good team. Could very well host a regional. I think Pitt is going to sweep them.

The fine should be in the neighborhood of $50 billion dollars. Wipe out the stock holders. Let NS be taken over by the federal government. Build out into a safe proper rail system.

@ReverendWarnock
Am I correct in thinking that if Rev. Warnock (or any candidate) gets above 50% of the vote on 11/3, there is no run off, Rev. Warnock goes directly to the US Senate in DC, and Loeffler comes directly back to Georgia no longer a US Senator?
Note: Ohio does not have a recall mechanism for US Senators. So guess what, Ohio, you have Vance for four more years. Good job there. You could have had Tim Ryan.
About today's opponent:
Southern California is 19-12 overall, were 12-8 in conference play in the Pac 12, and had an RPI of 33. The finished in fifth place in Pac 12 play. They finished the regular season ranked 25 in the coaches poll.
I’m not always the greatest detective, but Nebraska DB Tamon Lynum appears to now be Pitt DB Tamon Lynum on Instagram. Pitt picks up its first transfer portal commitment

MBS in Atlanta is designed so the concessions are cheap and of good quality. Mr. Blank correctly identified that ripping people off at the concession stand is a feel bad and wants a good fan experience.
Heard Kedon Slovis was running really fast in training in LA with Les Spellman's group. Slovis clocking a 4.56 40 today is a terrific time for the former USC/Pitt/BYU QB.
About tomorrows opponent:
Washington State is 26-7 overall, 14-6 in the Pac 12, tied for third with ASU, and is the 13 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. They also finished 13 in the RPI. So far in the tournament, they beat GCU 3-0 and 5 seed Dayton 3-1.
Pissed off about the Pitt Football transfer portal stuff this afternoon? Me too. My recommendation: support the Dartmouth basketball team's unionization effort. It's the wild west right now. With unions come contracts and with contracts come rules and with rules stabilization.

@JoshuaPotash
The only time there was any crowd outside the White House during the Obama administration was the night that Bin Laden was killed and there was a massive street party.
I think I disagree. It would have been dope to have 10k in the building today for that game, but 1)next year is the last year in the field house. Let that place rock like that again 2)the team has made it fairly clear they prefer to play in the field house. Let them decide.
@vetchy119
I think most Pitt folks are cool with it. Yes, they made Dayton an at large team, but 47 years is a long time. Duquesne folks are also not usually jagoffs. So good for them.
No surprise.
Hopefully we can find some flexibility with the Pete in the future. Cause at $10 a pop, we could have probably sold 10k for Saturday.
But Thursday and Saturday are going to have a Big Monday feel. It’s going to be so much fun.
One of the

verbals is S Isabelle Hoppe. She’s staying home. She’s the number 2 setter in the entire class. I believe her dad is in the administration in Pitt athletics. Goes to Pine Richland.

The only two teams that you have to consider favorites right now to be in the VB FF next year right now are Pitt and Nebraska.
Remember class, Pitt Volleyball is fucking loaded next year. And Louisville isn’t a very long drive.
About Dave and Andy’s closing:
1) the people that are saying this isn’t the Oakland their older brother/sister had. That is correct. This also isn’t the Oakland current Pitt seniors arrived to. Most of the restaurant turnover has been after Covid…
@ESPNCFB
The ACC Champions are not represented. Some .500 team in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania is. What gives, ESPN, no room for creative quarterback scrambles?
NGL, I’m surprised it wasn’t Bergen Reiley from Nebraska. What she did this year was insane and she plays at Nebraska.
She deserves it, though. When Olivia takes over a game, it’s lights out. Can’t say that about Reiley.
The Husker fans are mad salty right now about this.
A compare/contrast. The first picture was approximately 365 days ago, the second approximately 365 seconds ago. The big differences are that I upgraded to the current Pitt colors, I’m in a new car, and I’m wearing sunglasses. There may be some harder to see differences.
I mean, Saudi Arabia beating Argentina in the World Cup is a massive upset, but I was at Mountaineer Field on 12/1/07. That was a much bigger upset.
