Wanted to announce a project I have been working on with a few friends -
@ShaperResearch
. Over the past few years, I have become more interested in health and have found that it's really hard to keep up with all of the latest advances as new research comes out. I have been
Bear market crypto founders are like "I'm Jeff and I'm leveraging my experience at JPM to launch "
Bull market hits and you are gonna see a lot of the same guys on here like "I'm Waifu Harkonnen and I'm the Head Retard in Charge at "
stealth startups are for people who can't ship. if you ship, then it doesn't matter if people know what you're building, you'll beat them to market and win. weak as hell move to be scared that someone is going to steal your *idea* and beat you, disqualifying founder behavior imho
@drewcoffman
it's funny because "Friends With Benefits" (2011), starring Mila herself, was a much better / cooler version of "No Strings Attached" (2011)
Protocols that fork should "kick up" to the protocol they fork. Like if you fork Yearn, allocate 20% of your tokens to the YFI multisig. I think CREAM did this for COMP. It's the least you could do, and helpful to not totally piss off people working on achieving similar goals
... yeah my dude, my investment advice is data-driven. What's my null hypothesis? Sorry bro I don't have one of those - I got a bull hypothesis and I've concluded with statistical significance that we're all getting rich as hell lol

Daily trading volume of FTT is about $2mm according to Coingecko. $78mm of FTT blows through the order book a couple dozen times. Any substantial drop in price will create a liquidation cascade and the chance of shortfall is substantial.
When most people build a product, they ask,
"How big is the market?" Normally, it's not a question of _if_ you can answer that question, but _how_. Not in crypto - we dug in the trenches to size the market for crypto infrastructure so you don't have to

Slack is just your email, but instead of all in your inbox, it's split into many "channels", that are just little inboxes you have to check individually. Naturally I use it everyday

people in crypto are always saying 'this is not financial advice'. im here to explicitly give you financial advice today. buy an old truck. early 90s ford f150 xlt super cab. late 80s chevy squarebody . you wont make money on it, but you'll be happier... the way the sun reflects

adults should not be buying ipads. oh, you need another laptop (basically) just for watching netflix while you fall asleep? embarassing! what's next - a pacifier? totally undignified machine meant for babies
when people tell me "violent crime in san francisco is out of control", I mostly think "it's not THAT bad". but honestly if draymond punches or chokes one more opposing big man I might start to sing a different tune

to tell anyone his birthday, but he outs himself as a Leo everyday when he gets dressed in the morning, so maybe this only narrows the search space down 30x 🙃
A lot of randos have been asking me about ADA, and I'm a little tempted to tell them to buy a little. It's important to get rekt when you get into crypto - it's the only way to understand the risk! Might as well get it out of the way
yeah so my trading firm (me) just spun up a colo (got a parking spot) at the exchange (Wendy's) and we just backtested our strategies with the new latency numbers (ate three cheeseburgers) and it looks like we are gonna clean up! (get diabetes)
hadn't talked to a friend in a while so I sent him a text that was like "i love you brother" and then i realized it sounded a bit suss to get that message totally out of the blue, so i folllowed up with "(not gonna kill myself or anything)" which upon reflection, did NOT help
@juliankoh
Traders can't just go wildly long ...cars for example. You would have to go short Nikola to go long Tesla. So it seems quite a few stocks that were considered "trash" all ripped at about the same time.
This is dope, but it's inherently broken because it forces DAO members to vote on each move. This is a bad way to do things in a DAO. The DAO should just hire a chess player. Why should everyone in the DAO learn chess? Very inefficient for a firm to operate like this
On Friday,
@_Dave__White_
tweeted about DAO vs. DAO chess—a way to test effective governance mechanisms through games of Chess.
This weekend, I hacked together —a way for tokenized communities to compete in Chess.
Which DAOs want to play first?

That's correct. Sometimes. Here's a bit more detail on why we could not:

Many of these buildings are wood. For hundreds of years people have mixed linseed oil (to repell water) and rust (iron oxide inhibits mold and fungus growth) to protect wood from the elements. This is why many barns are red. Monopoly hotels are red, just like rust primer. Red

A simple plan (1998). Don’t take my word on it - my sister’s screenwriting coach said she “had to watch it” as it was a seminal example of a great screenplay in the doing-the-right-thing-going-wrong genre. I thought it was good
