This one hits close to home. I also had meningitis at 2, a year or so before Eduardo. My mom’s friend’s kid got it around the same time. He became deaf as well. I got lucky to have minimal long term effects. This is amazing to watch

@jmccall54 The neighbourhood in question does not have people wandering around and lurking like downtown. It will bring more crime and people will feel unsafe. Bottom line, it’s unfortunately a bad location. Also, it’s attached to a bar. Is that a wise idea?

So once they heard we were putting together 100 gift bags for people sleeping rough, @MorrisDCosta and @meggiewalk reached out and asked how they could help. I asked for Christmas treats and they dropped off these. Wow. #cutestgrandparentsever #jellyoftheirownkids thank you!

Happy Easter, everyone. I found out this morning that a Dad Club member who was struggling has passed away. It really was a huge reminder as to how lucky I truly am, despite any random nonsense I experience. Thank you to everyone on this crazy journey of life alongside me!
