Decentralized AI in everybody’s hands. It’s not just @EMostaque ‘s vision! Quite possibly the ultimate check on AI’s powers..?! “A decentralized, secure, and transparent ecosystem for the equitable distribution of the value generated.”

Let’s make this list of “I was not invited to meet with a senator” even more relevant: To get a REAL and BALANCED picture of the state and implications of AI, let’s just start with a random selection of 5 to 10 of the following. All could have made substantial and relevant

Right. And neither were invited: @BrianRoemmele , @pmddomingos , @JohnNosta , @metaprime , @ceobillionaire , @jeremyphoward , @Scobleizer and many others. This smells like Regulatory and POLITICAL capture. Both can clamp down on a bottom-up movement empowering people. Usually, with

@peterrhague This has nothing to do with Ukraine or the war. At some point it became fashionable to attack the guy enabling access to the Internet for every person on the planet and doing most for electrification, autonomous driving, and use of renewables. What triggered it? Twitter?

@Kurator_Tresci @nntaleb @joerogan Agree with your last paragraph! There is room for learning. But even a debate does not need to have a "winner" - except the audience. I think there is lots to be gained by respectfully explaining different interpretations of each other's logic and selective fact-picking.

@Holden_Culotta @RobertKennedyJr Good description of the probably biggest issue driving most of our economic and social problems… But a bit vague on answers… even just conceptually. The obvious answer is “hard money”… outside the control of either politicians or bankers.

Yes. And the ultimate small, curated dataset is personal!! We can train AI models by observing physics (per @ceobillionaire ), our physical environment via digital twins and IoT sensors, or completely personal datasets ( @BrianRoemmele and @PersonalAI_ ). Human-centric long tail.

@ESYudkowsky Isn’t it backward to label “AI generated” when AI is almost always in the mix when creating? Shouldn’t “real” or “validated” contents be labeled instead? Via some sort of blockchain mechanism?
