As I’ve been a bit quiet on here for a while, you may not have seen this large window I have recently completed. This is a composite image of the 4 panels photographed separately, as it is yet to be installed
Here is the left hand panel of the front door set. Three layers of fusing to build up colour and texture, then 4-5 layers of painting.

SOLSTICE! Here’s a sunny panel from a couple of years ago- really love this one! Right, time to plant out my sunflowers 🌻 😁. Summer joy to you all. Yes, even you lot in the southern hemisphere! Xxx
Went to a local plant swap today and got several lovely plants, so had a re-jig of my plant display in my sitting room- really rather pleased!

Frog! The recent hot weather has stimulated a last flush of metamorphosis in my pond which is lovely. This image is a small piece of a large commission I’m currently working on
Got a better photo of foxy in his new home- customer still delighted and now wants an owl for the bathroom- don’t we all?

Sticking with a kingfisher theme, here’s a recent panel based on ‘As Kingfishers Catch Fire’ by Gerard Manley Hopkins. A religious poem that speaks to me of the fundamental laws of nature, and the wonder and beauty of our fleeting existence and the inner universe of our minds

Lol- great costume! I had the same problem when myself and husband went as ‘Batman and Bobbin’ to a ‘B’ themed party- everyone kept asking me why I had come as a cotton reel and also kept using me as a table!
Currently working on a secret project so I’ll show you what I’ll be making in August! Transom and side light windows made in this style- looking forward to it!

A small collection of wild flower pieces inspired by a recent commission. VERY time consuming but as heirlooms of the future, definitely worth it! Release at 6pm GMT this Sunday- link in the comments below!
Was very excited to see installed this pair of windows I designed and made for the High Sheriff of Staffordshire.
Central window is original- I was commissioned to make panels to flank this, incorporating the family coat of arms but to retain the character of the original.
It actually is Thursday today (not yesterday) So

here’s my ‘Four Seasons’ window created for a gardener. Favourite plants and animals through the seasons and day/night. Many many layers of painting and enamel this was an exercise in patience!

I’m absolutely fuming right now (politics!) but must remind myself that I have a good life, so here is my concept design for a special client which was approved last week. Based on ‘when kingfishers catch fire’ by Gerald Manley Hopkins. Excited to be making this!
Flashback to my first coral panel! Still have it- quite large, approx 80 x120cm incl. board. Anyone fancy giving it a home? 😜

Second layer complete in this tawny owl- quite like the new colour leaves. Will definitely need a third layer- especially the leaves.

I know I said the soldering was a pain but I do love the piece in the end. So I hope to complete another one soon. Trouble is it’s approximately fifty-billionth on The List. Should be a busy few weeks-I can then sleep solidly through Christmas methinks! 🤣
