I saw 15 kids approx 8 years old on ice with 3 Coaches having fun learning getting exercise & developing. I also witnessed a controlled scrimmage of two U18 teams enjoying life. Safety was top of mind. For mental wellness this is so needed @HEOhockey @MacLeodLisa @fordnation

I've driven my son to school in the mornings for the last 5 years (when no lockdowns). How many times did I vent inside of having to do? My son got his license last month & now takes the car & I miss it daily. Don't take for granted the small moments they add up to life's best.

Minor Hockey teams r typically 15- 17 kids add Coaches 20 people max. The fact that @ottawacity reduced numbers to 10 only in arenas is simply short sighted for the mental wellness of the kids. 10 means kids lose comfort, exercise & spread out finding other ice worse. @HEOhockey
