Master theses provide some of the best introduction to topics. 1. not too long, 50-150 pages, 2. not too jargon filled, 3. not too opinionated, 4. show the progression of thought through time, 5. many references for branching off (more benefits i'm sure!)

My advice to engineers starting out: Find an important open source project on the way up and fix a bunch of issues and then go cold email a bunch of startups you know use that open source project. Langchain or Chroma are a couple to start with
