I found out right away that I needed an anatomy review when I went into making our pages. I studied this book to freshen up on muscle proportions/placement and made my own guide. Best anatomy book out there, imo, helped me quick! #indiecomics

@dillonsnookart I was starting to get anxious myself. Things that calmed me down: 1/4 I read in a group from someone who works at a publishing house that their department has gotten a memo to never commission for AI images in fear of copyright issues. Publishing houses will just not risk it.

@wintryimago Oh, I meant the image itself took around 20 hours; the 8 months was the time frame allowed by the client for the deadline (I had to do 4 other black-and-white illustrations). 8 months for just one illustration would've drove me off a building rooftop lol

@MokuppoH I used a 3D base in Blender that has a copy-pasted displacement map of a face I painted in Photoshop :) 3D will do wonders for your lighting. Use it if you can.
