@rohindhar Looking at this payment, a big issue is the “trade down” effect. How much better is it really to live in that home versus a similar starter home? While yes, it is nicer, at some point the lifestyle benefit is not as significant as the pain of your out the door monthly.

@theficouple Spot on. Market has settled into the new world fairly well. Big builders offering their own rates to combat DTI constraints for first time buyers. Resale has pulled back some towards equilibrium price point. 5-6% is going to create a boom similar to what we saw in 2020-2021
